Craig HarrisonYou are invited to take part in an online discussion to help shape Alliances’ response to the review of the Religious Education syllabus in Northern Ireland.
The Department for Education is currently running a public consultation on a new RE Core Syllabus, and we would like to hear our members’ views on how RE is taught in local schools to help inform our response to the consultation. Key themes that will be discussed during the meeting include the role of Christianity and other religious and non-religious worldviews in the RE syllabus, how RE can be taught in an inclusive manner that respects diversity, and a range of wider issues.
