ZoomAs members may be aware, childcare is a prominent issue at the minute, especially in Northern Ireland, where we lag behind the rest of the UK in terms of government support for childcare costs.
A working group of MLAs and staff have been working to further develop our existing policy on childcare to ensure that we have fully-formed and evidence-based position to articulate to struggling families and the childcare sector.
The Party’s Childcare spokesperson, Kate Nicholl, would therefore like to invite you to participate in a Zoom call on Monday 9th October at 7pm to brief you on the group’s work, alongside our Education Spokesperson, Nick Mathison.
The call will last around 1 hour and will present an opportunity to ask questions about our policy paper ahead of its launch. We will share the paper with attendees ahead of the call.
