The man has been targeted three times in the last five months. This incident comes in the wake of a number of racist attacks across Northern Ireland.
“I am horrified by this racially-motivated attack, which saw a car being set on fire in Rathcoole on Sunday,” said Ms McAllister.
“I thoroughly condemn this incident, particularly against an individual who has had to suffer racism frequently, enduring multiple attacks across the past few months such as his house being graffiti-sprayed and a brick being thrown through his window.
“The growing atmosphere of fear and hatred being perpetuated by these racist attacks is a disgraceful response to the depraved attack last Monday, after which I appealed for calm, to allow the PSNI to carry out their investigation without interference.
“I would urge anyone with any information that may be useful to the PSNI in their investigations to get in touch with them immediately.”
