Alliance Councillor Neil Kelly has condemned those behind an attack on a home in Antrim, which left a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his chest.

The incident happened in the Greenpark Drive area, late on Sunday night.

Neil said: “I condemn this sickening attack, which has left a community stunned.

“Those behind this brutal incident have no place in our society and do not represent the community as a whole.

“My thoughts are with the man injured and his friends and family and I hope he is able to make a full recovery.”
