The figures show five people were wounded in 2024, compared to 19 in 2023.
The North Down MLA has said: “This data is incredibly encouraging in terms of seeing tangible results of the efforts made to rid our society of the scourge of paramilitary violence. Whilst it is clear that there is much more work to be done, we are making progress and that is to be welcomed.
“I want to pay particular tribute to all the work that Justice Minister Naomi Long has put in over the last number of years to achieving this drop in incidents, and commend her dedication to tackling paramilitarism in Northern Ireland.
“We now need to take this information and have a closer look at the evidence of what has worked in this instance, then use it effectively to continue combatting all forms of organised crime, reduce violence in our society, and ultimately eradicate paramilitarism for good.”
