Cllr Harpur has said: “This incident that has occurred in the Killynure Green area of Carryduff is extremely concerning. 

“I have been contacted by a number of residents, including young families, who have been left deeply distressed as a result. No one should have to witness this on their doorstep. 

“The consequences of this incident could have been far more serious, and I am grateful that no one was hurt or seriously injured as a result. 

“I have spoken to the PSNI, who are currently investigating the incidents, and I would urge anyone who has information to assist them with their investigation. It is vital that those responsible are held accountable.

“I will continue to work with the PSNI and council officers to ensure that appropriate action is taken and that residents feel safe again in their own community.”
