“Given the number of collisions and crashes, there needs to be a review of road speed at the Newtownards end of the Portaferry Road near Teal Rocks,’ the MLA said
“I believe the criteria has been met to reduce the speed limit and for further physical changes to increase driver awareness that could literally help to save lives.
“This is just the latest of many life-altering and fatal crashes to occur at this location. It highlights the urgent need for the Department for Infrastructure to step up before anymore lives are lost.”
