Commenting on the High Court injunction on the Drumcree Parade, Eóin Tennyson MLA, Alliance Deputy Leader, said:

"Following the High Court’s intervention, it is important that everyone now takes a step back and responds responsibly.

"The trauma and pain associated with Drumcree are very real. People want to move on with their lives, not refight the battles of the past or reopen old wounds.

"Now, more than ever, we need calm heads, responsible leadership and a determination to dial down the rhetoric rather than inflame tensions.

"A generation has grown up without the division and confrontation of the Drumcree years. We owe it to them to maintain calm and preserve the progress that has been made."
