Just before 8:20pm yesterday (Friday), the PSNI received a report that a man wearing a dark scarf over his face, had entered a business in the vicinity of Ormeau Park. The man threatened staff members before making off towards the city centre with a sum of cash.
“Undoubtedly, this will have left anyone involved deeply shaken. So, we hope those affected by the incident are safe and doing well," said Councillor McDonough-Brown.
“I urge anyone who was in the vicinity of Ormeau Park on Friday night around 8:20pm and who have information relevant to the investigation, to come forward to the PSNI so the individual responsible can be held accountable for their actions,” said Alliance representative Chris Ogle.
