As you may remember, at the end of April, we held a members’ discussion on vaccine certificates, during which we heard a range of views on the matter.
The prospect is being revisited following developments in the Republic of Ireland and England and Wales requiring proof of vaccination in domestic situations such as eating at a restaurant.
The Northern Ireland Executive is yet to make a decision on vaccine certificates, with possible human rights implications at the forefront of concerns. Indeed, Naomi has requested urgent legal advice from the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission and Attorney General.
We would therefore like to check in again with our members, particularly in relation to the possibility of domestic uses for vaccine certificates.
If you would like to join us on Tuesday 10th August at 7pm to share your views, please RSVP below. A zoom link will be sent before the event.
