A PhD student studying at Queen’s University, Patricia researches issues of inequality in education and school exclusion.

Providing for our young people

Patricia has fought for more provisions for young people throughout Ballymena to allow them to meet in safe spaces and develop relationships together without fear. Patricia has fought hard to campaign for better leisure facilities to make this a reality.

Improving our environment

North Antrim has numerous beautiful walkways and attractions. Many of these sites have been neglected and are falling into disrepair. Patricia has campaigned to make sure our area is given the care and attention it needs, beginning with a revamp of the Galgorm River Walk.

Supporting the local economy

Local services are vital to creating a sustainable and more equal society. Having worked in the community and voluntary sector since she was 18, Patricia is dedicated to securing longer term provision for locals via sustainable funding.
