Your Candidate in Upper Bann is: Eóin Tennyson
A local councillor since May 2019, Eóin has worked to promote equality and good relations, highlight the climate emergency, increase openness and transparency, provide value for money and support local businesses.
Having worked with youth clubs across the constituency, he is determined to bring our young people together, free from sectarianism.
Eóin has volunteered with the Rainbow Project and is a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ equality.
An accounting graduate of Queen’s University Belfast, Eóin was heavily involved in the Student Union movement where he supported mental health, homelessness and People’s Vote campaigns, amongst others.
Building an Integrated Society
Westminster has an important role to play in uniting our community and building a shared future in Northern Ireland. Eóin will work to facilitate and encourage the growth of integrated education and mixed housing in Upper Bann.
Action on the Climate Emergency
The climate emergency is an existential threat that requires real action now. As a pro-environment candidate, Eóin is determined to cut emissions, crack down on air pollution and support investment in renewable energy.
Save Our Breast Services
Breast Assessment Services at Craigavon Area Hospital are lifeline for people in Upper Bann. As a local councillor Eóin has supported the Save Our Breast Services campaign and will continue to fight to retain the services if elected as your MP.
