Egan appeals for information on the twentieth anniversary of Lisa Dorrian’s disappearance

Alliance North Down MLA Connie Egan has appealed for information on the disappearance of Lisa Dorrian, twenty years after her initial disappearance (28th February 2005).

Connie Egan

Earlier this week in the Assembly, I appealed for information on the disappearance of Lisa Dorrian. Twenty years later, her family still have no answers, no justice and no opportunity for a proper burial, as her body has never been recovered.

I commend the Dorrian family’s dignity and strength in their long-held and consistent campaigning for answers to their call to action ‘Let’s Find Lisa’. Their bravery and determination to not just seek justice for Lisa, but for others across Northern Ireland is exceptionally brave.

I appeal for anyone with information to come forward to the PSNI. There are people who know what happened to Lisa and it is not too late to give her family answers.”
