Ford condemns Ballyclare petrol bomb attack

Alliance South Antrim MLA David Ford has condemned the petrol bomb and paint attack on a house in Clare Heights of Ballyclare in the early hours of Tuesday morning. A man was injured in the attack.

David Ford MLA said: "This attack is a sickening reminder of a past that Northern Ireland is trying to leave behind. Attacks such as this achieve absolutely nothing except damaging the confidence of the whole community.

"What sort of person would commit a thoughtless act like this? I would urge anybody with information about this attack to contact police so the thugs involved can be taken off our streets."
