Neeson hails Larne jobs boost

East Antrim Alliance MLA Seán Neeson

East Antrim Alliance Séan Neeson has welcomed news of the creation of 235 jobs in Larne as a significant boost for the area. The jobs come as part of a £16 million investment by pharmaceutical firm CaridianBCT.

Alliance Enterprise Spokesperson Séan Neeson MLA stated: "I am extremely pleased about the creation of these jobs. This £16 million invest will create 235 jobs, and this will be a massive boost for the Larne area. This investment will have a very positive impact on the local economy and will hopefully increase other business in the area.

"Today's news is a big vote of confidence in the workforce and facilities in Larne. The announcement also reflects the growing confidence in the Larne area. This massive investment underlines the importance of the pharmaceutical industry to Northern Ireland economy."
