Alliance South Belfast MLA Anna Lo has called on those who left two fire bombs in a shop in Belfast city centre to stop living in the past.

The South Belfast MLA said: "Whoever left these bombs should stop living in the past. Northern Ireland has moved on from the bomb and the bullet. These people are determined in their attempts to drag us back into the Troubles, but we must not let them do so.

"Attacking shops does nothing but damage Northern Ireland's economy, which will hurt everybody. Improving our economy is one of the ways that we can we hope to move our country forward, something that these people obviously do not want.

"I would urge shop owners to be vigilant for any suspicious devices left in their stores and I would call on anybody with any information about these fire bombs to contact the police."
