Alliance South Belfast MLA Anna Lo has said that the two deaths on Sunday morning following a crash between a stolen vehicle and another car on the Lisburn Road shows the tragic consequences of car crime.

The South Belfast MLA said: "These deaths show the tragic consequences that can occur from car crime. It should act as a deterrent to others who get involved in this sort of behaviour.

"The people who get involved in car crime think they are not hurting anybody but this just shows what can tragically happen.

"I would like to extend my sympathies to the families of those involved in the crash."
