South Antrim MLA David Ford has congratulated Antrim Grammar for coming top in Northern Ireland according to Sunday Times yesterday.

David Ford MLA said: "This is great news for the school and the area. Antrim Grammar is the youngest grammar school in Northern Ireland having been founded in 1974. It has clearly caught up with and overtaken many well established schools throughout Northern Ireland.

"The school is the pride of the area and this success is in no small part due to the high standard of teaching at Antrim Grammar.

"I would like to congratulate the Headmaster, Mr Black, and the staff team, especially those who have been there since the early days of the school."
