Neeson hails Carrickfergus jobs boost2.56.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Fri 5th Oct 2007
Alliance Enterprise Spokesperson and East Antrim MLA, Séan Neeson, has welcomed news that Schrader Electronics in Carrickfergus are to create around 50 new jobs by next year. The company produces tyre pressure monitoring systems and these new posts come as a result of the fact that it has won a number of new contracts. Mr Neeson, who is also a Councillor in Carrickfergus, said: "I whole heartedly welcome this news. This is a well-deserved boost for the area and it highlights the excellent standard of work done at Schrader Electronics. "It shows that the company has a very important role in the lucrative motor parts business, and is the leader in its field. "This is very positive news for the people of Carrickfergus and it illustrates a vibrant town with the prospect of a strong local economy for the future." ENDS
