Larne Councillor condemns Danny O'Connor's offensive remark

Larne Alliance Councillor Gerardine Mulvenna has condemned an offensive remark made to DUP Cllr Bobby McKee in relation to his disability. The incident took place on Monday when they were discussing a planning issue.

Cllr Gerardine Mulvenna said: "This remark is deeply offensive. We are trying to drive all forms of prejudice out of our society and such a remark must not be allowed.

"I would like to know whether the SDLP plan to take any action regarding this matter."
