Alliance MLA Anna Lo has hailed news of the creation of over 90 new jobs with the announcement of plans for a hotel and new apartments on Ormeau Avenue in South Belfast. She stated that more opportunities like this are needed to ensure sustainable economic growth and expansion within the tourism industry

Anna Lo MLA stated:" These plans are great news and the creation of more than 90 new jobs will provide a real boost for the South Belfast area.

"We have heard a number of positive announcements on the job front within the hospitality industry in recent times. These go to show that Northern Ireland can continue to expand its tourism potential.

"The Executive must capitalise on these positive announcements and do all they can to attract further investment and enhance tourism locally."
