Lisburn Mayor hails Dunmurry Bombardier boost9.50.00am BST (GMT +0100) Tue 19th Jun 2007
Lagan Valley Alliance MLA Trevor Lunn has hailed news of an 8 million pound investment in the Dunmurry Bombardier plant. The investment will let the company produce composite components for the aerospace industry. Mr Lunn, who is Mayor of Lisburn, said: "This is great news for the area. This investment makes the Bombardier plant in Dunmurry a world leader in technology. "This will help expand local potential for creating more high value jobs and will provide a real boost to the local economy. "The news of this investment is testament to the excellent work done by current staff at the Dunmurry Bombardier plant." ENDS
