Alliance East Antrim Representative Stewart Dickson

Alliance East Antrim candidate Stewart Dickson has stated that people should vote to put Alliance at the centre of government. He said that the tribal parties have not and will not deliver genuine powersharing and a shared future. He stated that Alliance supporters should vote as advised on their election literature so that the number of Alliance MLAs can be maximised.

Cllr Stewart Dickson said: "The power lies with the voter. They know that only Alliance can ensure genuine powersharing and a shared future. They also know that the tribal parties have not and will not deliver on these vital issues.

"It is important that Alliance supporters vote as advised on their election leaflet, to ensure we have the strongest possible Alliance team at Stormont.

"If our supporters vote as suggested on the literature, we can gain a second seat in East Antrim. Alliance is extremely strong in the area, and local people have indicated during this campaign that they want two Alliance MLAs in East Antrim.

"By voting as suggested, people can put Alliance at the centre of government in the Executive.

"Transfers are also very important and I would encourage people to vote Alliance, even if it is not their first preference. A vote for Alliance will send out the strongest message to the tribal parties that Northern Ireland is moving forward together."
