Alliance Leader condemns unionists' comments on Sir Ian Blair and policing10.16.30am GMT Wed 21st Feb 2007
Alliance Leader David Ford has slammed unionists for their comments on Sir Ian Blair and on policing. He said that this row illustrates how pathetic the unionist parties are. David Ford said: "The Unionist parties should have had a look a dictionary before they started throwing around wild accusations. "This episode illustrates how pathetic they are, because they don't understand the english language and they don't understand the serious nature of the welcome recent changes in policing. "Its time they grew up and started discussing substantive issues instead of knee-jerking because they don't understand plain english." ENDS
