East Antrim Alliance Assembly Candidate, Stewart Dickson

East Antrim Alliance Assembly candidate Stewart Dickson has praised the USPCA following their operation in which they found dozens of animals, in what they described as 'vile conditions', at a house on the outskirts of Larne.

The Carrickfergus Councillor said: "I would like to take this opportunity to praise the USPCA on this operation.

"I am shocked at this disturbing find. The authorities must send out a strong message on this issue.

"I am glad that every effort is being made by the USPCA to protect animals in Northern Ireland."
