Ballymena Alliance Party Representative Jayne Dunlop has condemned an incident where shots were fired on a house in the Ballymena area last night. The attack took place on a house in Orkney Drive in the Ballykeel area of Ballymena.

Jayne Dunlop said: "I am shocked and appalled by this attack. The perpetrators showed blatant disregard for the safety of the occupants of the house and of other local residents.

"We are working towards safeguarding a peaceful society and such sickening attacks merely destabilise the community.

"I hope that police can bring those who carried out this attack to justice swiftly. I call on anyone with information on this incident to contact police immediately."
