Alliance calls for police to provide information on Harryville Chapel attack4.48.20pm UTC (GMT +0000) Wed 13th Sep 2006
Ballymena Alliance Representative Jayne Dunlop has called on the police to provide information on the motive of Tuesday morning's attack on Harryville Chapel, to ensure that tension in the area is minimised Jayne Dunlop said: "In light of allegation of graffiti in the north end of the town attacking Sinn Fein, I wonder whether dissident republicans are waging a campaign to stir up tensions in Ballymena. "It would be very helpful if police could clarify the motive of this attack on Harryville Chapel, perhaps using forensic evidence, to ensure that we can ascertain who the perpetrators of this paintbombing were."
