More action needed to stop Ahoghil sectarian attacks: Dunlop

12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Tue 16th Aug 2005

Ballymena Alliance representative, Jayne Dunlop, has called for more action to stop the sectarian attacks in her native Ahoghil.

Jayne Dunlop said: "I am fed up with these attacks on the homes of local residents. There seems to be no end to these indiscrimate and intimidatory acts. While PSNI officers have been active in pursuing suspects there has been little success and the attacks continue unabated. I would urge local community representatives to make a joint and concerted effort to attempt to bring an end to these attacks."
