"Stop sectarian attacks in North Antrim": Dunlop

12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Mon 8th Aug 2005

North Antrim Alliance representative Jayne Dunlop has branded further attacks on Catholic homes in Cloughmills 'disgusting', and said now is the time to give up sectarian violence once and for all.

The former Alliance Chairperson stated: "These disgusting attacks must stop immediately. My and my party's sympathies go out to those affected.

"It is intolerable that people are living in fear of their lives simply for being the wrong religion. This cannot be allowed to go on.

"It is very easy to turn a blind eye to such attacks. But real lives are being affected, and real people are involved.

"These attacks bring shame to North Antrim and must stop immediately."
