Dunlop condemns Ballymena/Ahoghill attacks12.00.00am GMT Mon 1st Aug 2005 Ballymena Alliance Party representative, Jayne Dunlop, has condemned overnight attacks in Ahoghill and Ballymena. Jayne Dunlop said: "At this stage I have no idea of a motive, but regardless there can be no justification for attacks on property, particularly those which endanger life. The woman and boy in Ahoghill had a narrow escape, and could so easily have been seriously injured, while the device at the house in Ballymena could have injured any member of the family inside. "There are people in our community who are intent on intimidating and hurting people and they need to be stopped. I would urge the police to redouble their efforts to apprehend these criminals, and would ask local people to give any information they might have to the PSNI to enable them to tackle this problem effectively."
