Bell responds to concerned constituents

12.00.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Mon 29th Mar 1999

Responding to a large number of approaches be concerned constituents, Alliance Assembly member Eileen Bell said that the Assembly has no right to fail.

Mrs. Bell said:

"The public expects us to deliver the goods, namely PEACE, plain unadulterated Peace, without conditions, pre-conditions or whatever other names the time-wasters may come up with."

"The public in their thousands, tens of thousands, are praying for Peace, and for those in whose hands it lies. If we fail them now, we will never be forgiven."

"I wish to thank all those people who are sending us their prayers. We will do everything in our power to bring on board those who hold the solution in their hands. God willing we will have something extra to celebrate this Easter".
