Sympathy for the United States

Alliance Party Leader Seàn Neeson has written to President George W Bush to express his sympathy on the recent terrorist attacks there.

Seàn Neeson also joined many thousands of politicians and officials at a three-minute silence in Brussels last Friday.

Mr Neeson said:

"I was in Denmark and Belgium with the Enterprise Trade and Investment Committee to investigate energy matters and all of us were deeply shocked and moved by the events in America".
