Long welcomes end of Shorts aerospace pay dispute12.00.00am GMT Tue 25th May 2004 EAST Belfast Assembly Naomi Long has welcomed the end of the pay dispute at Shorts aerospace company in her constituency. Councillor Long said: "I am very glad this long-running dispute is finally over. It was a serious disagreement, and now that it has been brought to an end, it will remove the uncertainty that was hanging over the workforce. "This resolution will allow both the company and the workers to move forward and strengthen their positions in Belfast."
