Vote for constructive pro-Agreement politicians: Ford12.00.00am GMT Tue 25th Nov 2003 Alliance Leader David Ford has called for the electorate to vote for pro-Agreement candidates who will work constructively with each other in a new Assembly. "Voters need to examine each candidate's position and make a careful decision about whether they can be trusted to work positively towards restoring a devolved government. "My advice to the electorate would be to vote for Alliance first and transfer to pro-Agreement candidates who will engage with others in a constructive way. There is nothing to be gained by transferring to those who will actively try to undermine the process due to start after the elections. "If pro-Agreement voters genuinely want to see future stability in government, it is critical that they look to the long term and use their transfers wisely. "This election should be about building a united community, not reinforcing old divisions."
